Recognizing that you are having difficulties or are going through a challenging time in your life can be a pivotal moment. Even if you are afraid to start with someone new or have had a negative experience with therapy in the past, I'm here to facilitate a smooth transition into therapy, providing support and understanding every step of the way. My patients often express feeling a sense of relief and comfort from the outset, which is something I truly value. My approach to therapy is rooted in connection and informed by your psychological development – specifically the relationships that shaped who you are today. I believe in the power of a strong therapeutic alliance to create stability and security in your life. MISSION

  • Before accepting you as a patient, I carefully assess whether we would be a good fit. This ensures that I can provide you with the best possible help, or if necessary, refer you to a therapist who may be better suited for your needs.

    Furthermore, I believe in the significance of assessing each patient's suitability for group therapy. This not only protects your well-being but also ensures a treatment environment that fosters recovery.

  • Our well-being requires interpersonal connection — feeling a sense of belonging, acceptance, safety, and purpose. For many, therapy is where individuals experience that, perhaps for the first time, and where they learn to cultivate those healthy relationships outside of therapy. Group therapy offers a unique opportunity to improve interpersonal skills through real-time learning and practice.

  • I prioritize showing up for our appointments and rarely cancel last-minute, unless it is absolutely necessary due to unforeseen circumstances like illness or emergencies. In such cases, I make every effort to reschedule the appointment promptly, taking into consideration your schedule and treatment requirements.

  • Treatment is often a challenging and painful process that requires time to achieve desired results. I won't abandon you or give up just because progress may be slow or setbacks occur. My role is to be there for you without enabling negative behavior. I will be honest with you, and challenge you throughout your treatment, even though it may be uncomfortable, because I sincerely want you to get better (whatever that means to you).

  • At Whole Dynamics, you will communicate with me, or my office administrator, no one else. This means:

    Your calls will be returned promptly.

    You will not be passed through various individuals or extensions.

    All correspondence, scheduling, billing, referrals, and other administrative or logistical aspects of a therapy practice are handled accurately and efficiently.
